Maxine started her career as a junior stylist on magazines and worked her way up to head the style team at House Beautiful. She moved into freelance interior styling, prop styling and events styling for commercial retail clients.
As well as working for an array of commercial clients, Maxine works closely with PR companies to creating beautiful interior styling content for their clients. Her commercial styling has been featured in magazines, newspapers, on social media and blogs. She is also an award winning interior blogger so has in depth understanding of how images need to work across all platforms.
Interior Styling, re-branding and art direction for Shropshire Designs. Maxine produced the whole shoot from start to finish. The company had never done any stills photography before so Maxine helped them by sourcing locations and booking the crew. She also pulled together mood boards of looks that would work both for web, sales and press & PR.
Huge two week shoot for Hillarys Blinds. Interior stylist Maxine pulled together all the looks based on the brand’s own trends and new materials. She sourced locations, hired the crew designing the room sets and hired furniture props. Every single element of the shoot was managed in detail.
Styling was kept on brand for Hillarys customer and the images have been used in the press, nationals, advertising, mail outs, online and on blogs.
One of Maxines regular clients, Maxine handles the production of Lifestyle Floors press and pr images. Over one day she styled five looks key looks for Autumn / Winter photography to be pushed out to the press, magazines and newspapers for style features. Each room set encompassed a 2019 decor trend to guarantee coverage.
These images were widely featured across the press and on blogs.
