I’ve loved featuring 3 projects from Kate Smith’s Makery Sewing book which has over 30 ideas in them. I’ve featured a few on the blog already which I’ve loved making and sewing. Mainly because they are so simple – perfect for someone like me who is not – lets be honest here, I’m not the best at sewing. Now the lovely Kate Smith has given me a copy of her beautiful book to giveaway on the blog. It’s takes a second to enter and you could be in easy-sew heaven.
This little project here transforms a sweetie tin into a footstool in the most adorable fabrics. A weekend well spent making this little beauty. 
Early in December we made these placemats for our Christmas table top. Using denim fabric with the Japanese prints makes it look bit edgy.
Last project in our run, was this oh-so amazingly simple hooped laundry bag which I featured last Friday….
The book is filled with lovely photography, easy to follow instructions and lots of tips on how to make these projects personalised just for your home.
Kate Smith is the owner of the thriving Makery sewing café workshops. Now, she’s been busy with her needle and sewing machine to bring you a collection of 30 sewing projects spanning highly original fashion, gift and home ideas. 
As well as the three ideas I have featured, there are 27 more including PJ Shorts, stuffed Flying Ducks, fashion Bags, storage boxes and lots more. These projects can take anything from an hour to a weekend.

I would love to win the Kate Smith Makery book because i started sewing since i was about 6 years old. I wanted the book when it first came out but i couldn’t find it.So this is a great opportunity for me to win a the Kate Smith Makery book.
Such an early starter to sewing. Do you still have any of your projects from back then? I’ve got a card I sewed in school of a polar bear.
